Health, Yoga and Fitness Island Package is a unique adventure spa and fitness program that takes place on the spellbinding island paradise Ilha Grande, just off the coast of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
This seven day program is designed to detox your body and destress your mind. The combination of outdoor exercise, yoga and meditation, together with a natural diet has proved to have extraordinary health and healing effects.
Now, imagine yourself starting your day with a morning yoga class on a deck overlooking the tranquil ocean, hiking in unspoiled rain forest trails, kayaking in quiet bays with warm emerald waters, snorkeling, or just relaxing on a secluded tropical beach with fine white sand and palm trees. At all times you are physically and mentally supported by a professional team, which guides you through the various activities and helps you to achieve your goals.
Back in the lodge, one of the massage therapists gives you a full-body massage for a whole hour, and you are then ready to enjoy your deserved downtime, either laying on a hammock in your private veranda with the view of the ocean, reading a book, or going for one of the optional evening activities: stretching or meditating in your second yoga class of the day, painting, learning the basics of Brazilian rhythms, how to dance samba or practice capoeira. Dinner is served under the light of candles and stars, the perfect ambience to enjoy delicious Brazilian dishes made with fresh natural ingredients, carefully selected to detoxify your body (and eventually loose weight, since a low calorie diet is available as an option). The day ends with Brazilian cultural entertainments combining music and dance.
The location is just breath taking. We have carefully selected the most beautiful trails and beaches on the island to ensure that you experience the most spectacular scenery while you hike and kayak. The lodge is located on a jungle hillside and sits directly on top of the clear tranquil waters of the Atlantic . This quiet setting is ideal for yoga, massage, and relaxation.
