Strategically held in the Brazilian summer, the Salvador Summer Festival provides a sample of Brazilian music and guarantees a preview to the fascinating Bahian Carnival.

This Brazilian Music Festival is becoming a re-ocurring event that began in 1999 and last year entertained 200,000 spectators of all ages. This 5 day festival provides a sample of Brazilian Music from MPB, Pop, Reggae, Pagode, Axe, Rock, Techno and more. In addition to the music shows the festival grounds also has other attractions - a small Mixed Fair, an Electronic Music area, a Food Court and an Adventure / Radical Sports area.

The Festival is held 10 minutes from the city of Salvador, Bahia, Brazil at the city's Fair Ground.
