World Vacations is a travel portal that has been operating for approximately 9 years and has in its portfolio sites like Discover Mexico, Discover Caymans, DiscoverLaFrance, Discover Spain, among others.
Our Strategy
Discover South Americas strategy is to offer only Pre-Selected Destinations, Accommodations, Packages and Tours to Travelers and MICE (Meeting, Incentives, Conventions and Events) clients seeking a differentiated experience.

Our team is comprised of North Americans and Europeans who have been living in Brazil for at least 5 years. We have established offices in Salvador, Bahia, believing that only with offices in South America can we really satisfy our customers needs.
Product Selection Criteria
All products we offer have been visited and pre-selected by our team. Our pre-selection criteria include, among many, the quality of the product and service offered, charm, design, and the South American experience it transfuses to the client.
For the Accommodations portion of our Vacation Packages we offer mostly Pousadas (South American Inns and Bed & Breakfast) and lodges that provide the customer with a differentiated experience. For the tours and transfers portion we only offer superior quality services with differentiated guides fluent in the clients language.
Responsible Suppliers Policy
We at Discover South America strive to ensure a high standard of excellence in the travel services we provide for our clients. In order to achieve this level of service and quality, we implement methods of monitoring our suppliers to make sure they are providing the best possible travel experiences for our guests. Given the fact that we aim to provide Select Travel Experiences for the Dream Society Traveler, our standards are geared toward the same. Using a qualificaton system we developed, consisting of surveys and regular visits, we make sure and see first hand that our suppliers meet our high standards. Ultimately our goal is to protect our client and to guarantee that he or she has a singular travel experience.

Discover South America is affiliated to and part of WorldVacations / Worldlinks. WorldVacations / Worldlinks is a small group of dedicated travelers who have made a living and lifestyle out of what we love to do.travel and enjoy the wonders of exotic destinations. We have built our business on using the Internet to provide a better resource for travelers to find those unique hide-a-ways. Through the use of technology, we have built a great travel business that we all have passion for. We personally travel to destinations and hotels we book for so we know the areas we work in.
We are an online provider of interactive regional travel guides hooked into a database driven reservations system to provide hotel & resort reservations to our Internet shoppers. We are a small, rapidly growing, pre-funded company that is looking to partner with the right suppliers to help us become one of the top Internet travel destinations online. We currently have a technical staff in New York City, NY and a customer/sales support staff located in various parts of the North America Auburn, AL, USA .
While we offer similar services we are not a traditional travel agency / tour operator by any means. We only work in selective areas/regions worldwide that we personally visit and want to send our customers to. We have agreements with each property and every receptive service we work with. We work with a select number of packages, tours and hotels in specific destinations. We do sell our services and products to agencies.
Up to this point in time most, 85%, of our business has been done with smaller hotels and resorts that are not part of any GDS or CRS system. We work with hotels, resorts, B&B's, inns, condos and villas of all sizes.
We also try to visit each of our properties that we book for so we understand what the property and area are like. Because we take the extra effort to visit most locations and hotels/resorts, we feel we provide a better service to our customers and our hotel partners. We have a very...very low dissatisfaction rate from our clients because we let them know exactly what they are getting. No other worldwide Internet travel company visits the majority of its properties. We would like to request complimentary (FAM) time at your resorts so we may educate our sales staff.
